Gratnells sponsors keynote speaker Ted Dintersmith at EDspaces 2020
Gratnells is pleased to announce its sponsorship of this year’s keynote speech at EDspaces 2020. Ted Dintersmith, author and education change-agent, was due to present his speech at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina, but the exhibition has now moved online. On EDspaces Innovation Day, 28th October 2020, Ted will virtually present “What Schools Could Be – Small Steps That Lead to Big Change” on the potential our educational institutions have if we focus on transformative learning experiences instead of test scores.
Dintersmith is on a mission to give our kids a real chance to thrive in the innovation era. “Without profound change in traditional education, most of our current students will be at risk in a world defined by innovation,” says Dintersmith. “It doesn't have to be this way.”
For the past 4 years, Gratnells has proudly sponsored the keynote speech at EDspaces and helped to bring some great individuals to the event. Ted Dintersmith follows the likes of Tony Wagner, Michael Horn and Sir Ken Robinson who have all graced the stage and delivered powerful speeches at previous exhibitions.
“As a collaborator and peer of past keynote speakers, Sir Ken Robinson and Tony Wagner, Ted will continue the important conversation on the future of education,” says Jim McGarry, EDmarket President & CEO. “Ted knows the key role the education market plays in creating the next generation of learning environments and will challenge to us to support transformational change that positively impact schools everywhere.”
This year’s event will now be held online, with almost 200 companies exhibiting the products needed for success. The Marketplace will be open from 21st October 2020 right through to 12th November 2020 allowing ample time to explore the event. EDspaces Innovation Day and Ted’s keynote speech will be on 28th October 2020. Dealer meetings and sessions will be underway on EDspaces Dealer Day on 4th November 2020. The Main Event will take place between the 10th and 12th November where delegates can virtually explore connections, take virtual tours and take part in EDsessions.
