Ordering Guide
UK ordering
For deliveries within the UK Gratnells uses DHL to deliver our pallets. To keep costs down we ask our trade buyers to buy one pallet as a minimum. The pallet can have mixed colours and tray sizes according to our guide which you can download on the right. Our Customer Service department can help if you have further questions. We do occasionally make a few exceptions where a specific amount of trays is required for a new school, refurbishment or project. PLEASE NOTE WE NOW DELIVER OUR LIDS IN QUANTITIES OF 460 NOT 360. Do ask, we won't mind!
Export to Europe and by road.
For deliveries in and around Europe Gratnells uses Eurocartons which hold a smaller amount of trays than our UK deliveries. We do this to make sure there is no damage in transit as there are likely to be more truck movements delivering outside the UK. Again we have the guide to download on the right.
Sea containers
Gratnells uses both 20 and 40 foot containers for further distances including Australia, USA and Asia. The overriding aim is get as much into the container as is physically possible. Our staff are well practicised at filling every nook and cranny! Our guide which you can download on the right gives a rough approximation as to what we think we can get in based on pallet spaces. However, it is often at the last moment that we really know what will fit in, especially when mixing trays and frames.
