Education show a hit for Gratnells

Gratnells, best known for 40 years of designing, manufacturing and marketing advanced storage systems for the education and medical sectors, has enjoyed a successful return to the Education Show at NEC Birmingham.

With two stands at this year’s show showcasing the company’s latest product range, the newly launched PowerTray attracted a great deal of attention, and visitors commented on its compact design and how easily it would fit in with existing storage.  In addition, the next generation of Callero trolley’s, Callero Plus, also received lots of interest.

Another ‘star of the show’ was Gratnells STAGE, a modular system offering a quick, precise build of slick interlocking parts, a quality finish wood surface and smart use of robust plastics for weight optimisation and durability.  This latest edition to the Gratnells range was showcased by singer-songwriter Ned Roberts’ performance at regular intervals during the show, encouraging visitors to have a break to take in the music and the set design.  Teachers commented on the ease of assembly of STAGE, the fact that it can be built by pupils and stored away in a small space.

A natural by-product of the larger system, the newly launched Gratnells ‘Step-up’ mini stage also received positive attention from teachers and pupils alike and was confirmed as being ideal for in-class performances.

The company’s famous trays were also evident on other exhibitors stands, with many suppliers using Gratnells trays to add value to the packaging and presentation of pencils, pens, glue sticks, teaching materials and STEM kits.

Richard Picking, International Marketing Director at Gratnells, said “It was an excellent show and a great opportunity to meet and speak to users of our products.  We received positive feedback from teachers and pupils and Ned Roberts’ performance drew lots of people to the STAGE stand, where we received many enquiries for both the full system and the new ‘Step-up’ mini stage.”
