Blend it
This activity will help your child to read different blends and recognise them in words.
What to do:
- Either print or write out different blends into the base of the tray.
- Get a die and whiteboard marker pen.
- Roll the die into the tray and see where it lands.
- Read the blend that the die has landed next to.
- Can you think of a word that has that blend in too? e.g ‘gr’ a word to match it would be ‘grow’.
